Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay and Bonus
At Physicians Insurance, we regularly monitor our base pay to ensure we remain competitive. On each employment anniversary, each employee is eligible to earn merit increases based on their performance. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a yearly bonus based on the operating results of the company.

As a Physicians Insurance employee, your health and well-being are among our highest priorities. We offer the following benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: current company payment is 100% of premium for employees and a portion of the premium for spouses and dependents
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k) Retirement Investment Plan: current company match is 100% of the first 6.6% of employee salary and wages before taxes that employee contributes to the plan
  • Money Purchase Plan: current company contribution is 10% of salary, wages, and bonuses
  • Holidays: 10 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays
  • Regular 37.5-hour workweek
